Unfortunately there is no cure - in fact if there were we probably wouldn't hear about it since it's nearly impossible to find a doctor who knows much about RSD and if you do find them they will most likely disagree with each other on every aspect of it! The best thing I can tell you is keep up your desensitization exercises, maintain range of motion, take meds consistently and research the drugs you are on so you can identify which symptoms are coming from RSD and which are from side-effects. What is currently helping me is: 50Mcg Patch Fentanyl (Duragesic) 20 or 30 mgs Oxycontin per day 50mg Vioxx id 4mg Zanaflex bid Trazadone (forget spelling and dosage) Amantidine (an Anti-Viral that is used to boost energy in Parkinsons and MS) Let me know if you have any questions I have been on nearly every drug (or at least class of drugs) that is used to treat RSD.
