My daughter has been in remission for almost two years. She religiously did physical therapy twice a week, with exercises at home everyday. This enabled her to keep full mobility after the RSD went into remission after two epidurals and a bier block. She didn't get much relief from any of the medications. She kept her leg elevated whenever she was sitting down which helped with the swelling. It seemed the more it swelled, the worse it hurt.
