I began to get chronic hives on my feet and arms...they would swell up a great deal. Eventually my palms began to itch, and my upper lip began to swell. A few weeks later I had a very bad attack. My lips swelled lip sausages, and my eyelids were so swollen that I could hardly open my eyes. My whole face became completely deformed and I was rushed to the emergency room. I was given an epi-pen, which I would have to use if ever I came in contact with someting to which I am allergic. This needle should be used only when the throate becomes swollen and closes air passages. I have also been taking zyrtec and hydroxizine.
