I'm a 43 yr. old male about 5'11" tall. In 1989 i made a huge lifestyle change. I stopped drinking, parting etc.The first 2 months i gained weight from about 155 lbs.to around 180 lbs. I was still small over most of my body but i had grown a huge gut. I started exercising like a mad man. I became addicted to it.Running, walking , swimming, bikng, weightlifting. I tranformed my body completely. I was just starting to get definition in my abs when pain started and spread over my body the next 4 years. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I've learned all about fibro & don't need any info on that.Around 1997 i started really gaining weight, all the way up to 285 lbs. Slowly i've managed to get down to 260 lbs. I know alot of these diet plans out there are a bunch of bull. I know the only way to really lose is to limit your food intake & to MOVE!. Or to make a lifestyle change & stick to it I can't do much exercizing anymore due to the chronic pain & fatigue. I can probably manage to walk in water maybe 4 days a week. The only weight loss plans i've seen that make any sense to me are the 3 or 4 that concentrate on eating the right foods in the right order to burn fat & change your metablolism. Another i saw that might make sense i thought is the one where you pick your body type [shape] and turn the cards over & follow the instructions. That one too has to do with eating to change your metabolizm i think. I'm going to start on slimfast today until i get some responses. Although i don't believe much in it because of the ammount of calories in each shake. I would very much like to hear from anyone who has had any luck at any of these programs or any others where you don't starve yourslf or exercize vigorisly. Please respond & help!!!. I'm at the end of my rope, my whole life has turned upsidedown. Can u help me? Thanks, Allen
