My son recently had the same problem. The doctor at the emergency room gave him 2 bags of saline solution and told him to drink drink drink. When a person is dehydrated (my son had heat exhaustion) their colon system basically shuts down and that's why they get the stomach aches, gas, headaches, leg cramps, etc. They need tons of water to replenish their bodies. The colon system has to have a lot of fluid to be able to move (it like squeezes the feces and gas around for elimination) and when it doesn't have enough it slows and can stop functioning. Try to get her to drink her 8 glasses or more per day. It should help. Good luck.
