I'm a 30 yo male, i had chest pain three months ago after a heavy meal, and a similar substernal tightness on two ocassions while shovelling snow. After about ten minutes of rest the pain left. My 34 yo brother has had a myocardial infraction. My cholestrol level is 400mg/dl. I have no history of hypertension, diabetes, or heart disease. I drink on beer after dinner each night but do not smoke. I am not on any medication. pulse rate is 84 beats per minute and respirations 16 per minute. My skin is warm and dry. I am very concerned about this and have had many tests. Chest xray was normal heart size and no pulmonary lesions, however electrocardiogram revealed inverted T waves in leads I, AVL, V4, V5, and V6 which i know is abnormal. Examination of my head showed no abnormalities, the fundi showed no hypertensive retionpathy or lipid deposits. There are no jugular venous distention and the carotid pulses were strong. My thyroid is normal in size and color and my lungs are clear. A grade II/VI systolic ejection murmur was heard at the apex. The rectal exam showed no stool guaiac. All peripheral pulses are normal. But Nontender nodular masses noted over both Achilles tendons had rough irregular surface. The neurolicical exam was normal. As you can tell i've had lots of tests and no one can tell me what is wrong, pleas help me find out what is the cause of my ches pains. Thankyou.
