                        hello,   the iritis you describe can also be related to a very nasty type of arthritis...    Spondyloarthropathy  a seronegative arthritiss.  they include  ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS,  PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS, REITERS DISEASE  AND CHRONES DISEASE...  YOU REALLY SHOULD RULE THIS OUT... I personally know serveral via a support group that   Iritis was one of the  first  presistant symptoms... also Irritable bowl syndrome can accompany it..not always...   you could go to Rheumatology.org... and check it out... search under iritis.. and also checkout  ankylosing spondylitis  just rule it out... it is not  unusual for an eye dr. to be the first to suggest this to you when you have reoccurring  iritis
