I have lived with complications from EBV since 1988. The first 2 years were the worst, I know how debilitating it can be and it comes and goes and the symptoms change. What you will find that works for you may be different to a degree thaan what works for someone else, but if you learn your trigger symptoms - like sore throat, pain in the calf of your leg, or front of the thigh, or front of lower arm &/or back of upper arm - and you can learn to rest at the onset of those symptoms, it will help you a lot. The key is to rest when your body signals that it needs rest. I am currently battling a bout with my bowels and I am in a lot of pain with it. Vitamin b complex helps also. I wish I had more hope to give you, but believe me there are a lot of us out here and most drs. still don't recognize it as a disease.
