Hello, I am 32 years old I have been diagnosed with angioedema but not to any degree of knowing if it is hereditary and what type c1, c2, I know I am miserable though! I always have the "lumps" in my face or throat, hands, legs, or somewhere on my body, and also internally,(in my intestinal tract and other parts of my abdomen) "this is very painfull" it started happening a year ago after I suffered a stroke witch took part of my vision in both eyes, I am still seeing specialists, on/off prednisone, zantac, zyrtec, celebrex for swelling, flexerall for pain and about 2 or 3 other meds that haven't worked. my concern is of course getting this condition under control but even more than that does anyone know just how hereditary this is? I have 3 daughters and this certainly worries me for them, I didn't inherit this condition from my parents they did not suffer from this, if anyone has advice or knowledge can you please contact me, thanks.
