Susan
Hello, I made a house-call for my doctor because I could hardly walk and it was very painful. This was a week ago. I had the problem 4 days before I called the doctor, so it's been 14 days total. When the doctor arrived he told me I had bursitis and that I required a cortosone shot. He gave me one a week ago in the hip where the most pain was. I find it hard standing, walking, sitting down and hard to sleep. He did not give me any other anti-inflammatory pills. I am in such pain. I don't know what to do. Should I go and see my personal physican, maybe there is something else wrong or does it take a long time for bursitis to heal. This is the first time I have had bursitis and don't know too much about it. Would love everyone's insight to bursitis and how I can help reduce the pain, or maybe some advise with you past experiences in bursitis. Thank you. (desperate) Susan
