Whilst one new study finds cigarette users have a 61 percent increased risk of getting prostate cancer another says men who drink six or more cups of coffee per day have a 60 percent lower risk of getting prostate cancer than men who drank no coffee at all.
Each year the disease kills about a quarter-million people worldwide.
Apparently the link between smoking and prostate cancer extends to former smokers. The longer they go without smoking, and the less they smoked before they quit the more the risk declines.
So non smoking heavy coffee drinking males are best placed to avoid Prostate Cancer, if the studies are to be believed!
