To Patty: I had an incompent cervix also and had the cervical stitch put in . They did not help me either and I still miscarried. I had 6 miscarriages and 1 stillborn. My Infertility Dr did an implant. A woven band was put around the outside of my cervix and was attached to the ligaments of the uterus. It help the pregnancy but due to other complications, I delivered at 32 weeks and had a healthy baby girl. Needless to say, I did spend 3 months on complete bed rest and had to learn to walk again. My baby girl is now 21 years old. When I had the implant done, I was one of the first in the USA to have it done, but I was so desperate. Glad I tried it. The only drawback was I had to have a C-section. But I didn't care. I had my baby and never tried for another one!
