I recently had a laparoscopy ( a procedure that they do with a tiny scope through the navel to examine your tubes). My doctor told me that one of my tubes was completely blocked and that the other was blocked and had attached itself to some tissue. I underwent a laparotomy about 6 weeks ago. The doctor was able to open one of the tubes and attach it to the place it needed to be. Oe was so severely damaged that nothing could be done. He told me that my chances are good to get pregnant but that with any tubal surgery that there is an increased chance of eptopic pregnancy (tubal pregnancy) If at any point I think I may be pregnant I need to see my doctor right away to rule out that possibility. Fortunately, I have a chance where before I had none at all. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. Good luck to you and God Bless. Lisa
