Ifound out I had prostate cancer after a routine physical - my PSA was 26.0 - I had no symptons or pain at all - also I have no family history of prostate cancer. - It is now 10 months after radical prostectamy, my Dr. felt confident that he had got all cancer - but after 3rd PSA test it has reason from 0 to .4 in 10 months -I am now starting radiation treatments this week.Drs. feel cancer is still microscopic and will respond well to radiation. I am very puzzled why the Dr. would not request PSA tests at least every 6 months after surgery? - will Keep everyone informed of how radiation goes.
