Hello. I know, it could be very frightening when you start feeling week and dizzy. I have been diagnosed with hypoglycemia about 15 years ago, and finally, after a few years and with the help of a dietician, I have learned how to eat properly and fee "good" Rule #1: never stay for longer than 2-3 hours without eating something such as a fruit, some protein like 1 tsp peanut butter on half or a full slice of whole grain bread, a piece of chees also with 1/2 or a full slice of whole grain bread. The reason they say that whole grain bread is better is that it is absorbed by the blood a lot slower than the white refined bread and therefore its effect lasts longer. So, O.J. or a whole fresh orange or grapefruit for breakfast with your regular breakfast, a snack by mid-morning, lunch and then a snack by mid-afternoon, supper and another light snack before going to bed. If you keep your meals at a reasonable size plus the 3 snacks, you will see, you will feel a lot better, you'll be less tired and you will not feel weak or dizzy. If a dietician is within your reach, I strongly recommend you go see one. That might also help you a lot. One trick I found out is to always have a hard candy in my purse and if you feel yourself getting weak and dizzy, if you know that your stomach is empty for a few hours but you have no access to food, what is happenning is that your suger level has gone to abnormally low level, just suck on the candy and this will prevent you from passing out (if your case is severe) and you'll get some energy back until you are able to eat. I hope this helps you get started on the road to knowing how to live with hypoglacemia. Good luck. Rose
