Hypoglycemia is uncomfortable, but managable. O.J. is good for getting the blood sugar up and feeding the brain, etc., but make sure to follow it with protein foods to keep your blood sugar level. Otherwise, it will go up and down and when it is down, expect headaches, fatigue, feeling irritable, not with it, etc. If it is too bad, eat something sweet, but again, follow it with protein. A well-balanced diet, a little heavy on the protein and light on the carbs (bread, sugar, pasta, corn, etc) will keep you even and more comfortable. It's a good idea to carry hard candy with you for when you feel as described above, but just follow it with protein as soon as possible. Good luck. There are worse things.
