I had hypoglycemia for yrs. before I got diabetes. Please include protein and grain, whole wheat, oats, etc. along with protein. Around 10, you need to have a protein or high grain to sustain you until lunch. Eat 6 times a day to stave off having a blood sugar diet. There are books on the market concerning low blood sugar and you. Orange juice will send your sugar up quick, but unless you eat something, it will come down quickly to. Now I eat oatmeal with oat bran, or whole wheat pancakes, with a little fruit. For snacks I eat a couple of graham crackers, or popcorn or rice cakes or fruit. Hope this helps you some.
