Lorena, Hi my name is Keri and I'm 33 years old. I was delevloped 3 DVT's in my left leg after back surgery which resulted in temporary paralysis for weeks because of nerve damage. I was taking warifin at 9mg daily to keep my INR level right. After 6 months the doctor just took me off the medicine. THey did this without doing another doppler. A few months later I was back in the emergency room with severe pain. When they did the doppler they didn't see anything. My pain has continued to get worse since November. I have been in the docotrs office numerous times and since my leg isn't swollen they don't see any reason to do another test. Do you still have severe pain some days? There are times when I can't even stand in line at the grocery store without wanting to cry. Let alone rock my 3 year old on my lap, it feels like my leg will explode if she sits to long on it. I also fly every month. I find that it takes days sometimes after I get back to not be in pain. Do you have any suggestions on how I can deal with the pain issue? Thanks!
