About a yr. ago or so I started having pain in my elbows. It was diagnoed as bursitis and subsequently have had 5 shots of Cortisone. Ouch!! Then about 4 months ago I started having much pain in my hip and outer leg. My physician has told me that it is bursitis. He has recommended that I use hot and cold patches to relieve the swelling. Faithfully I do this plus exercising my leg, lying on my side at the edge of the bed, extending the leg out for a count of five and doing it 15 times on each side twice a day. My leg has become very sore, to the point that I no longer go out for walks or ride my bike or do any kind of exercise nor climb stairs, since any of these exercises cause more pain. My elbows have not been bothering me very much anymore. I took yoga for about 3½ yrs. Could some of those exercises aggravated my joints to cause this type of problem. Also I have had two very complicated pelvic surgeries, could this have cause this problem for me?
