I am 33 years old and never had migraines, only bad headaches with PMS until my OBGYN gave me hormones to help "jump start" my cycle and after that I began having migraines almost constantly and they were so bad during PMS that I would usually end up in the hospital. I told my physicians that my migraines were hormonal, but you could tell they didn't believe me and they sent me to two Neurologist or "Nuts" I would call them. You wouldn't believe it if I told you the diagnosis one doctor gave me and the other had me so "doped up" on narcotics, I could barely function. I had a partial hysterecomy 1 1/2 yrs ago due to not being able to have a monthly cycle and I've only had one or maybe two bad migraines since. You can't tell me my migraines weren't hormonal. There's a physician (Adrian Griffith), I believe he practices at the Elkin Hospital in Elkin, NC now and he said he can cure migraines with several of his "Cascade treatments" given intraveniously. I had one of those treatments when my migraines were very severe and I can honestly say they were never quite as bad after that, so he may be on to something.
