Hi. I am stumped. At age 51, I have experienced short bouts of incontinence during my postmenopausal stage. Of late, however, I have been having .... not leakage, but bedwetting experiences... once and even twice a night. Each episode is accompanied by a realistic dream, often of using the restroom, which wakes me up... but only after a signicicant amount of leakage has occured. I can't seem to come up with a common factor that is associated with each episode. I am getting to where I am afraid to take a nap or to stay in bed once I wake up in the middle of the night. Psychological? Physiological? Twice in one night even after getting up the first time and voicing? It's scary. I am familiar with many of the possibilities.... medication side effect, drinking too many fluids, etc.. But I have never experienced this problem in such frequency and such a large amount of leakage. CAn anyone out there help?
