I nursed my two children a long time, one 13 months and the other 18 months. If you can hang in there another month, then you can start giving your child cow's milk. I had always heard no cow's milk until one year old. But if you can't wait start by eliminating one feeding at a time. Do the day time feedings first and leave the night time feedings for last. When you stop the one feeding, use the time to feed your child solids instead and use juice or water for a liquid since your child does not like formula. Go several days that way before you eliminate another feeding. Start by eliminating the feedings that are around normal meal times for your family. Good Luck.
