I am a WF, age 31. At the age of 29 After weeks of pain and no diagnosis, I was diagnosed with 2 large ovarian cysts and told that I needed immediately surgery to remove 1 and possibly both of my ovaries. After surgery I learned this was not gynecological at all, the mass was growing from my omentum which was removed along with the mass. I waited 2 months before the gynecologist reluctantly told me that the mass was a low-grade leiomyosarcoma and I needed to see an oncologist at Sloan. Less than a year later I had another operation which was a benign ovarian cyst. Now two years after the cancer I continue to follow-up with doctors, but I am finding a LACK of information available and I find that the doctors are reluctant to give me much information. I've been getting pain and I am finding other ailments on the CT scans. I would love to talk to anyone who has information or would like to share their feelings. Thanks and god bless you all.
