I wonder if anyone else has experience of opthalmic migraine - there is no headache attached for me, just a weird distortion of vision for about half an hour - like looking through a faulty piece of glass with defects in it which distorts the vision around the defect. I have it in both eyes, but the defect appears anywhere in my vision. I have a little difficulty reading when it's happening, as some words are blacked out, and I feel a little spacey. An opthalmologist told me not to worry unless it keeps happening a lot. Anyone else know anything about this? I feel quite OK during the episodes apart from "spacey", but have never heard of such a thing before.
