Hi, I also have been diagnosed with autoimmune liver disease about twelve months ago. My first symptoms included feeling exausted easilly, headaches, and generally not well. Approx two weeks later after blood tests showing severe vit k deficiency and abnormal liver function tests I started to feel very arthritic in my joints. This was so bad I could not carry things in my hands and needed help to get out of a chair as my knee's would not hold me even though I was considered normal weight. After several blood tests, a visit to a Rhumatologist and 2 liver biopsys I was diagnosed. I have always been very healthy and never believed in taking pills. I changed my mind about that - had no choice I think I would have locked up completely if not for Prednisone. I have gained weight from it, and am now taking Cyclosporin 100mgs twice a day, with Imuran 75mgs a day,and reduced the Prednisone to 10mgs a day. I can't tell you if these are everybodies symptoms but they are mine. I have noticed the Prednisone has effected my eyesight and now wear glassed to read, I had very good vision before even though I am 50yrs old. If there is anything you would like to ask me please do. regards mavis
