My husband is having surgery to remove his uvala, tonsil and tissue in the throat. I need information on the surgical proceedure, healing, pain and possible side affect or extended problems. He is 39 years old and I was told that this kind of surgery has higher risks and is very painful in adults. He is scheduled for surgery on Monday morning, January 8, 2001. Thank you.
