My husband considered surgery for sleep apnea until we learned the chance of its success is not good enough to warrant the pain. We were told it is quite painful. My husband uses a fairly new device called "The Breeze" with his CPAP machine. Are you familiar with the device? It fits the head so that the air hose comes over the top of the head and permits more freedom of movement. If you want more info on "The Breeze" let me know. We're still hoping someday soon there will be a better answer for us than the dreaded CPAP. Good luck. m.j.
