Hello - I have had EBV for about 12 yrs. - dr.s really dont know the effect it has on you - they told me that I got it because I had a very bad mono case and this is something that you get because you can never get mono again after haveing it so bad. Anyways my EBV I think is related to CFS and also FMS - please ck with a dr. that deals with these syndromes - good luck - I am still up and down. If a dr. makes you feel like it's all in your head - go to another one - I waisted over 12 years of being sick because of the same thing - dont give up. Some people also call this low-grad fever virus.
