I too have Fibromyalgia (FMS). I've suffered with it now for almost 2 years. I understand what you mean by the symptoms jumping around. I never know from day to day what part(s) of me will be hurting, and it does change with the weather (amoung other things). I am on 8 different medications. 2 of which are narcotics for the pain, a muscle relaxer, 2 antidepressants and other medications to help me sleep. The pain and FMS both interfere with deep sleep patterns, which then causes depression and more intense pain. I have taken a wide variety of vitamins. If I had to choose only one, it would be the liquid Calcium Magnesium Citrate with Vitamin D. I had tried several differant brands of calcium in tablet form. The Liquid Citrate is the only one I've found that helps me. I take it at bedtime. I was averaging (with my medications alone) about 2 to 4 hours of sleep a night. With the Liquid Calcuim and my medications I'm now averaging anywhere between 3 and 6 hours and I don't wake up near as many times. It isn't a cure, but it does help me. I'm not trying to sell anything, but in case you want to try it, and can't locate it, I found the brand Lifetime at Vitamin World. I would think any vitimin store could order it or another brand like it. Just make sure it's the Calcium (Citrate)Magnesuim with Vitamin D. I had tried many different brands of the Calcium Carbonate with no results (until recently I had no idea there was more than one kind of calcium.) I hope this will be of help to someone. I would like to hear from anyone else who has FMS and of anything which has helped them. God bless.
