What you are describing sounds exactly to me like Intersitial Cystitis--a chronic inflammatory disease that does not usually go away but if you are diagnosed by a urologist--they have several different treatments to help control the pain and frequency of urination. Medication also. I have had this disease for 15 years and that is exactly like what my symptoms were in the beginning.
