Does your urine culture come back negative or positive? If it comes back negative and you have symptoms of cystitis, you may have "interstitial cystitis" which is a chronic inflamation of the bladder. This can be treated but you must find the right urologist. I went through many before I was correctly diagnosed. Antibiotics and acidic foods or drinks only make the symptoms worse. There is a great drug that is now sold over the counter called "uristat" that helps me greatly. The prescrption name is called "phenazopyridine." Good luck.
