To Judy Carrell I want to thank you for your thought's and prayer's. At the beginning the doctor's were so rude to me. I felt like I was just taking up their time. I was so sick and didn't think I was going to make it. Finally I started treating myself. All I got from the pulmonary specialist was I was really obesed. I ate salad and water for a year. I tried everything not to gain weight. You know how hard it is from being on the prednisone. I was border line diabetic and while I was in the hospital they checked my blood sugar. But when I came home I was on my own. So I invested in my own machine and checked my sugar every day. And when I did start coming off the prednisone and started losing weight the doctor said he could never had done it. I starved myself to get back to where I am today. And all he can say is "Your breathing is down". I told him the last visit I would get another opinion. He said fine. But I am the one that has to go through this. Any way I appreciate your kind word's and do keep me in your prayer's. I will do the same for you. And one more thing, about the people not understanding this disease, they look at you and all they see is this over weight person who they think is lazy and sit's around and eat's all day. They can't believe what the steriod's can do to you. I just started doing my own house work again. My mom was coming and doing mine. She has arthritis real bad, and people were saying "You have to do Judy's work for her?" I wanted to say get a life, but again I said a little prayer for them. If they ever get in this shape they would think again before they spoke. Sorry to go on and on. Again thank's Judy
