I have just been diagnosed with this due to a high sed rate, aches and pains. I'd like to know how we got it and is it normal to run a five year time span? This is what I am concluding readng all 18 of the messages! My doctor isn't totally convinced that is my problem. He ordered another blood test that came back and could be a false positive. It will be repeated in 30 days. In the meantime, I am on 10 mg of prednisone, down from 60 mg! I have about 2 to 3 hours of energy a day and then I nap to get more. Is there anyone else like me? The least chore ends my day, can't plan outings etc. Thanks, Barbara
