Two months ago I found out I had an ovarian cyst on my left ovary. It was causing pain in my left side and my menstrual cycles were a bit off. I was taking tricyclen-28 birth control and my husband was using condoms. I ended up going in to the emergency room because the pain was severe. It ended up the cyst was gone and I was shocked to find out I was pregnant. My doctor did a vaginal ultrasound and there was no evidence of a pregnancy, therefore laproscopic surgery was done. Still, there was no sign of an ectopic surgery. This all happened a week ago and I am getting HCG tests done every two days because the HCG should be at least 5600 but is only at 2500. I do have another ultrasound booked in a week's time. Is there something I should be doing? It is confusing and disheartening to know something is not right and to have gone through one surgery already yet, we still do not know what is going on.
