I had this same problem when I was 26, I am now 49, but it seems like yesterday still. Left ovary, pain, pregnancy test positive, but no baby. Surgeon went in lap. took out hemoragic mass. Looked like possible cancer. 2 weeks later, removal of left ovary for a frozen section. Didn't wait for pathology report, removed other ovary and uterus. Said he was sorry the next day, as it was an ectopic pregnancy. Baby was growing in the intra-abdominal cavity (which was the mass they had removed, not knowing it was a baby) there was no cancer, just a baby growing in the wrong place. After all is said and done, I've read where the baby could have been put into the uterus and been perfectly normal. Good Luck to you. God Bless. Rene'
