i have had the same thing. only i had 5 of these cysts each the size of a grape. no doubt they are painful. my period is usually painful after an episode with ' cysts, but the pain subsides after a couple of days. they should "drain" with your period. mine come and go. sometimes i go 4 months without any pain and then i'll have 2 painful cycles. i've been told there isn't much you can do about them. there are several informative websites if you search ovarian cysts.
