Your bad breath could indicate a problem with your stomach, unless you have some type of peridontal disease or rotten teeth. One time I had a patient who had awful breath. For some reason, we didn't figure out he had false teeth for a week or so. When we got those teeth out, there was food under them. An infection had started which was treated with mint-flavored hydrogen peroxide swabbed on the gums. Hydrogen peroxide can be used to brush teeth and prevents and treats gum disease. If it's not your diet or your teeth or gums, see a doctor. If your family practioner cannot find the problem, you might consider a gastroenterologist. You might also consider taking licorice pills.
