My son has been diagnosed with the same thing, although he is only 2 years old. We are trying to get speech therapy for him only to get denied by insurance. Apraxia and dyspraxia are virtually the same thing, apraxia means absence of speech, dyspraxia means some speech. Is he enrolled in speech therapy? You should have a speech therapist give him an evaluation and recommend treatment. With treatment, dyspraxia can be corrected. Please keep me informed, as I'm attempting to conquer the same problem.
