                        Karen,   The occupational and speech therapist will help you better than the pediatrician.  That has been my experience.  They work with these kids every day.  Find a good children's therapy center to see an OT. My son made leaps and bounds once the right way to treat him was made.  I wasted a whole year with a therapist that didn't know how to treat dyspraxic kids.  The pediatrician was no help at all to me, either with diagnosis or treatment.  Good luck.
