My 23 month old daughter was diagnosed 3 1/2 months ago with developmental dyspraxia and probible verbal dyspraxia. I just dont understand this whole thing! What went wrong? Sad thing is that I work with Special Ed children. My daughter still doesnt walk. On the bright side I knew early on something was not right and got her an early diagnosis by a developmental specalist. She is in EIP and gets speech and PT 2ce a week. She knows 12 signs and is walking along the furniture. The Dr wants to check her chromisone but the insurence wont pay and I cant afford it even if it means finding a more percise dg! Can you help me understand?
