I didn't know the name, and it maynot be the same thing. Mine starts out away from my face. like when I'm sitting in a chair looking down at the floor, I see this sprocket of bright light that jiggles and blurs out some of what I'm looking at or reading. The light gets bigger and comes closer, and in about 20-30 minutes, it goes into my head or eye and I can't see it anymore. Then I have this feeling like I took a cold pill or some kind of medicine. I also have no pain. Doctor says not to worry about it.
