I have the same condition except my opthomologist calls it occular migraine. The light, especially florescent or sunlight brings mine on.I have to lay in the dark until it goes away.There is medication, vascular, that you take at the first sign of it coming on-I used to take Midrin, it is the least expensive. They also use Imatrex, and another one but most insurances wont pay for it because it is so expensive. The meds work to dilate or constrict the blood vessels(cant remember which one.
