Gail, I too have IMG and took 60mg pred.daily for 8-wks.and tapered down for 3 wks.My treatment did not work,so now i must face cyclosporin or participate in a new drug study at chapel hill n.c. Pred.was sort of tough with all the side effects but i tolerated it.I have a friend who also has this disease and she went thru the same treatment with great results.She is now in remission for the 6th.yr.Good Luck.
