hi sharon, our stories are very much alike only my son was born premature and lived for 2 months.apparently when i got pregnant with him i had this virus but didn't know it. when he was born he was very sick. the doctors didn't know what was the matter with until alot of tests were done, but the damage was already done the seven months i carried him.after we had the autopsy done we found out that the virus had invaded most of his body,including his brain.if only i had known about this virus before maybe this wouldn't have happened.i did go on though and have a daughter whose very healthy she's 14 now. when i was pregnant with her iwas tested on a regular basis for cmv. thank god it didn't show back up. i still don't know a whole lot about this virus. if you have any information for me i'd really appreciate it' thank you.
