I have had FMS my whole life. The pain escalated when I had some tramatic events in my life. I find the only exercise I can really do is water areobic classes at the YMCA - I am 43 years old and usually the youngest person in the class. Make sure the pool is warm or invest in a short wetsuit or you will be to cold for it to do any good. The pool should be about 90 degrees. My instructor has Fibro and is very sympathetic. Take care. It is a rough road but you have to stay postive. I also garden, but sometimes that can be too much and I make the pain worse.
