My husband has the same problem, This has happend 3 times so far, the doctors say it is because of his stature...he is tall and thin. His lungs are long and too heavy for the plura sac to hold them at times they inturn slip out of the sac causing his lung to collaps. The doctors say , once it happens there is more of a chance for it to happen again, he was also givin a chest tube for the 30% one, but was left alone for the ones that were only 10% collapsed and they did heal on there own. We just hope it doesnt happen again. Good luck to you and your son. Sincerly, Kelly
