Well, well, well.... You might remember my post #97 :) hehe.. It's all over, I am feeling wonderful! My throat looks marvelous and feels that way to. It took me a total of 10 - 11 days to recover almost fully, so hang in there Danny. The best advice I can give is to take your pain pills! That's what got me through...I must admit I took a little more then the max dosage, but hé I'm 103 kilo's and if the hospital didn't give you sufficient pain meds go see your own doctor and ask for Declofenacnatrium. Cuz that combined with Paracetamol/Codeine almost alleviates the pain totally for 5 - 6 hours at a time!!! Try eating also. Solid foods, try eating them when your meds are at full effectiveness. I experienced day 6 to be my worst, then rapidly I started to get better. Well, this will be my last post....Take care to all recovering and to all of you thinking about having this surgery done, I wish I could say, "DO IT, it's all worth it in the end", but I'm still to traumatized by the roughest recovery and pain I've ever experienced.
